The Grass isn’t always Greener

Have you ever envied someone for the life they lead? Ever thought how wonderful it must be to be so happy and so in love? Are you jealous of the lives others lead? Of their joy, their peace, or their money?

These things come at a price. Joy can only be enjoyed as the product of hard work and sacrifice. Peace can only be appreciated at the end of a long and tumultuous turn of events.

Money is earned and when it’s not earned Money can be more like poison instead of a means to a brighter future.

Don’t ever look at someone and wish you had their life. You have no idea the pain and suffering that has paved the way, of which they never speak.

When the only news we see is of our friends and coworkers on an envying moment in life, don’t be duped by it’s pretense. Life is never a moment to moment victory for any of us. Some of the wealthiest families have drug addicted children. And, some of the poorest families have children who turn out to be rock stars. Poverty and riches are not a predictor of who will be happy. That, my friend, is up to you. You are the captain of your own ship and only your can steer it’s course.

Find your hidden talent and share them with the world. Give in to that which makes you special. Those hidden talents that no one can take away from you. That’s what the world needs.
