Cuchara Hermosa’s new VP is Lisa Garrison
As a new member of Hermosa this summer, Lisa showed great dedication to our organization! Every time I looked up, at an event, Lisa was there to volunteer!
She and her husband bought their Cuchara home the summer of 2019. And since they live here 9-10 months out of the year, she was looking for a way to get more involved in the community!.
She was born in Colorado Springs, but spent 20+ years in Kansas City.
She graduated from Texas A&M University in 1987 with a BS in Aerospace Engineering. While working at the Johnson Space Center, she met her husband.
She started her own company in 2000, consulting in automation and process control. She has been very fortunate to travel the world, but calls Cuchara her home.
Lisa’s passions include animal welfare, cooking, wine and slow hikes to enjoy the scenery. She believes Cuchara is truly a unique and special place to call home. And, she sees volunteering as a way to help preserve and protect this wonderful community.
She looks forward to meeting everyone and hearing their unique stories about Cuchara.
